KOCKUMS MASKIN is among the first in the foundry sector to offer Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) documentation for all products. As part of our commitment to the green transition, we help our customers meet growing demands for carbon transparency across the supply chain.
We deliver certified and transparent carbon footprint data for each of your products, presented in kilograms of CO₂ equivalent per item number and documented through an official certificate. Our Product Carbon Footprint calculations encompass the entire value chain - from raw materials and casting to machining, surface treatment, and recyclability - ensuring a comprehensive overview of each product’s environmental impact.
In close collaboration with ReFlow, a leading environmental tech company, we process and validate all data in accordance with ISO 14040 and ISO 14044 standards for life cycle assessment. By integrating primary data from our suppliers and internal systems such as CRM and ERP, we provide our customers with reliable, data-driven insights that support your sustainability goals and strengthen your Scope 3 emissions reporting.

Three different options for customers
As a customer you can choose either an indicative estimate for a quick overview, or a more precise and detailed calculation for a small charge per product number. For a full overview for purchased tonnages, tailor-made solutions are available that offer full transparency for the whole delivery.
PCF Advanced
- Based on specific requested item numbers
- Complete process included
(Casting, machining, surface treatment, transportation etc) - Average Renewable Energy Share (RES) is NOT included
- Price per item number = 350€
- The documentation can be used for annual reporting of CSRD.
Please note that the energy share is based on a general electricity mix.
PCF Total
- Based on unlimited item numbers
- Complete process included
(Casting, machining, surface treatment, internal transportation etc.) - Including average annual Renewable Energy Share (RES)
- Subscription total = 5,200 €*
- Start-up cost = 1,200 €
- Annual reporting = 4,000 €
- Certificate per item number incl. Excel-sheet and dashboard
- We offer to upload the PCF-data in your system (e.g. EcoVadis, SAQ)
- The documentation can be used for annual reporting of CSRD.
