A new important step has been taken towards a more digital and data-driven production at KOCKUMS MASKIN. Our quality department has developed a new system for SPC analysis (Statistic Process Control) and control measurements.
In the past, quality checks involved manual entry and took time away from the production process. With the new ROCDA system we have a more structured and reliable process where measurements are now entered digitally in real time, streamlining the entire process.
Immediate feedback and troubleshooting
The system provides immediate feedback to operators, enabling them to act before any issues arise, ultimately ensuring higher product quality and reducing cost of quality defects.
- The goal was to simplify the operators’ everyday life and at the same time create a more robust basis for analysis. Now we can save time and work more proactively with quality – before problems arise, says Roc Pallares, Quality Technician at KOCKUMS MASKIN, who led the development of the new ROCDA system.
This digital system not only reduces manual work but also increases traceability, making it easier to identify patterns and deviations in production. By targeting improvement efforts where they’re most needed, we can reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
